Hedesunda - Färnebofjärden

Hedesunda bike tour. A 65-km loop begins innocently enough – forests, endless straights, the road stretching like chewing gum beneath pines and birches. Gentle hills, gentle bends, a strong headwind, then complete silence again – only the hum of the idle, like an electric thought.

Suddenly: Färnebofjärden National Park. Moss, water, sky – and then, abruptly, a 100 km/h highway, like a world turned upside down. No way forward, no sign, just the feeling that this is the end. So back. Through the thicket.

But then again: this landscape. Vast, quiet, enchanted. The detour? Completely forgotten.
