Labyrinth and the Flying House

From Numana to Osimo – an Italian pedal adventure

The sun is blazing. Tires roll out of Numana, ready to conquer the Marche. Soon, hills tower like stubborn old men, who must nod their heads at every meter. Osimo awaits, the city of stairs, a labyrinth of cobblestones and tripping hazards. Only those paying tribute on foot are allowed to pass.

Beyond Osimo, the path becomes gentler, gently descending, past Loreto. There, the "Holy House" of Mary sits enthroned – a flying house, it is said, placed there by angels themselves. Today, it watches over the hills as a pilgrimage destination and place of protection, while cyclists simply roll on in the shadow of these wonders.

Finally, the sea, glittering like a promise. And at the end, an Aperol Spritz awaits – orange, bitter, and sweet. Just like this tour.
