Monte Argentario

The starting point is Santa Liberata. From here, the route continues along a quiet road towards Porto Ercole, past the lagoon and through shady pine forests. The route is flat and pleasant – ideal for a warm-up. In Porto Ercole, it's worth taking a short break at the harbor before the climb to the panoramic road begins.

The Strada Panoramica stretches across the south and west slopes of Monte Argentario. It gets rougher – on a road bike, you'll need to borrow some fuel from Rubaix or the Strada Biance, but the views of the open sea, small bays, and the island of Giglio are worth every effort. The road is quiet, and the landscape is wild and Mediterranean.

After about 25 kilometers, you'll reach Porto Santo Stefano. Here, you can take a relaxing break before returning to Santa Liberata on a flat route.

A varied route of about 40 kilometers – scenically impressive, sometimes challenging, but worthwhile.
