Ramp? No: Galician-style rape

Galicia plays with words and legs: "Rape" isn't the ramp that forces you to pedal outside, but the anglerfish – a monster from the Atlantic. Visually, it's a nightmare of teeth and maws, as if it had crawled straight out of hell. In terms of taste, however, it's one of the most elegant numbers ever.

The recipe is brutally simple and mercilessly honest: cut the fish into thick slices, sear it in olive oil, add garlic, paprika, and a squeeze of lemon. Served with potatoes that come out of the ground as soft as butter. No frills, no foam.
That's what Galicia is like: suffering outside, feasting inside. Rampage or rape – both will knock you out. But you'll only want to do one again immediately.
